When it's been used/destroyed, it won't go to the Graveyard (assuming "there" is the Graveyard).

Card effect removes the card from play (which is outside the "mortal realm" of dead creatures - the Graveyard).

Same again. Graveyards tend to be on the ground, and cards won't go there.

Illuminated means LIGHT monster.

Banisher of the Light is a Level 3 monster with 2000 DEF. That's difficult to beat with any Level 3 or lower monsters. Almost impossible, actually, unless you have a combo.
