This is where it all began. People very quickly stumbled across the "Christmas" thing. Nowadays, the most notable thing about Christmas is this Santa bloke. And young children go visit him in little cardboard sets in malls known as "grottos". Additionally, the way the clue is worded is reminiscent of how trolls might speak, all simplistic (they're only rocks, after all) and such. Rock and Grotto. Therefore answer. Self-contained. But I'll go through the many other clues I gave anyway.

Type of a kind of debris, perhaps?
This one tried to get you to guess a synonym for "debris". The synonym I wanted you to get was "detritus". "Detritus" is the name of one of the troll officers in Ankh-Morpork's Watch in the Discworld. A little bit of research would tell you he was a troll, made of rock.

Okay, there's no big mystery here. Does exactly what it says on the tin.

Don't any of you appreciate a good book written by Terry Pratchett?
This one tries to reinforce the second clue about Detritus, as he features in some of the Discworld books, the series Terry Pratchett is most famous for.

What if I mentioned "Detritus"?
Well, yeah, see second clue. Also, the observant will notice the capital "D", implying it's a name and not just a word.

Futuristic Lara Croft, perhaps? That's where I'm from.
Different tactic here. Lara Croft is of course from the popular "Tomb Raider" games. Futuristic in this case is pointing to the opposite of ancient, when everyone built things out of stone blocks. Nowadays, and indeed in the future, we'll be making buildings out of metal. Metal Raiders?
Maruno said:
And it's not a Warrior-Type monster.
Strangely, it seems someone misinterpreted this clue and kept on guessing Warrior-Type monsters.
Maruno said:
Four or more? It depends on who you talk to. But I'd have to say I'm the most abundant.
A few more this time. See first line.
I am what I am.
Four or more? In ye olden dayes, there were four elements. In Yu-Gi-Oh! there are six. And of those six, a quick filter in RONIN tells you that there are more EARTH monsters than any other Attribute.
The "few more" would logically mean the Monster Types. Okay, quite a few more, but still... Of the Monster Types, the one most similar to EARTH is Rock.
Finally, the last line implies that, given it's an EARTH Rock monster, then it's an EARTH Rock monster. Something made of rock, or something that has "rock" in its name.

It's not a Warrior-Type monster, no. It's not in Dark Crisis. It's not in Dark Revelation Volume 1. You were close with "Tomb Raider", and to get the set my card is in you need to decide what would be more futuristic than what Lara usually wanders around in. It's not necessarily futuristic compared to today, though.
By now, if you're still reading this, this quote should make sense. The first three sentences should anyway. The last two point back to Metal Raiders, specifically the "metal" part of it.
Maruno said:
Ancient tombs were made from huge stone blocks. Think about it.
Again, in the past tombs were rock. Nowadays, it's metal. Okay, buildings are still made of stone/brick/concrete/whatever, but metal is more futuristic.

As for appearance, it's probably a matter of opinion. It certainly looks as though the card can fight, although as for being a warrior, I'd say probably not.
Come on. Does the card look like it can kick bottom or what? A metric rearload of pain coming your way, I think. Unfortunately the 800 ATK points don't really reflect this.
Maruno said:
There's nothing special about this card.
So it's really rather normal. A Normal Monster Card. Then everyone kept guessing Effect Monsters. As I was typing this reply slither managed to say this.
Maruno said:
You guys put me in a hard position here, you know. Well, perhaps not in a hard place; next to it, rather. And next to something else too.
Rock and a hard place. Rock. Get it?
Maruno said:
Remember how I said there was nothing special about this monster? In terms of the card, what would that mean?
Normal. Again.
Finally, after nearly a month at it, you've got it. Rock Ogre Grotto #1. Entropy's turn.
What a great birthday present, to finally have finished with this. I'm going to skip my next turn on principle.
