I'll put an emphasis on "help" and guessthat it might not be the card itself that summons that specific monster, but makes it possible to summon it.

.. i was thinking along the lines of Ancient Gear Castle, but i can't think of one for a popular monster right now...

Maybe "summon" is loose and not mechanical so Proto Cyber Dragon makes it as if you summoned a Cyber Dragon.

The rest is just an anagram. I.e., sly Edo = Eyes Idol.

Sounds like a monster going to Defence Position to me. A card whose picture is pointing downwards (perhaps), and maybe even attacks directly while in Defence Position (the "straight to it" part)?
