The inconspicuous flip side.
Let's have a look at this. "Inconspicuous" can mean "overlooked", "something that isn't as well-known as", etc. Look at the bottom entry of the Thesaurus link for more synonyms.
"Flip side" means "the other side of something". An opposite. Left and right, light and dark, yin and yang, to be or not to be. Light and Dark.

I caught people trying to guess Change of Heart and A Rival Appears! after this clue. Shame on them.

If it's inconspicuous, it's often overlooked. Something that's the opposite (other end of the wedge, the flip side, if you will) of inconspicuous is well-known. In this case, you might want to go back to where it all began.
I repeated most of this above.
Where did it all begin? I'm talking about the card game here. It all began in a particular manga, and (for the non-Japanese, anyway) Duelist Kingdom.
Where's an opposite in Duelist Kingdom? Well, there isn't one as such, but half of the answer is certainly there. One of Yugi's favourite defensive cards, aside from the Giant Soldier of Stone. Mystical Elf.
But we want the overlooked opposite to Mystical Elf (which should also be an Effect Monster).

Well, i'm backing off of the Elf thingy but still think it could be that since there's an anime cartoon called The Flipside.
Didn't know that. Interesting. And that's ironic, actually, as you may discover when the answer is guessed.
Ironic, since it was indeed an Elf card.
LordLight2 is correct. It's therefore his go.
