That's got nothing to do with it; the number of lines in the clue means nothing (it can go on forever, but I shouldn't type that much); I copied and pasted the line a random number of times; I just found it interesting that the number 42 appeared yet again in my life.

You shouldn't be looking at any part of time in particular (i.e. a specific length of time). In fact, you're only looking at the "twelve hours" part of the clue. While that can lead you to the answer, it's easier if you use the whole clue.

Gemini Elf is wrong, and for the wrong reason.
