Would lead you to think "fish" but is a reptile. Everytime it's in the graveyard, it comes back to your hand, "further away is actually closer" ?
 
I didn't even see the post that said I was right. Funny too was that I was beginning to think Red Herring as well, but Jathro just vocalized it.

In any case, I'm going to rate this one a 5 out 10 on difficulty. It shouldn't be too hard but unless you know how I think it may take some guessing. But it's not like I'm going to come and spell it out for you again ;) (oh just ignore that last line before everyone tries to find some subtle hidden meaning). As for the clue:

She's like a fairy
When she's trembling
When she's dancing
Just see her rambling
How it's nice to follow her to the end.

See. Simple... if you think about it. Maybe I did spell it out after all.
