Hey, I've been gone all this time...okay, I have two tracts to take, and they're probably both wrong, so I'll start with the most obvious (especially, since Blue means relaxed Orange-technically brown- means stressed in a Mood Ring):

Well, your clue could refer to when Hal Jordan went insane and tried to kill off the Corps. Which was caused by a yellow parasite in the main power battery...

Dark Effigy it is...

Martyn Van Wyck was abducted by the Controllers and transformed with superpowers. The only thing the doctors could note different about him was that his "eyes changed from blue to flickering orange." He created burning beasts that could only be described as "effigies." He became an enemy of the Green Lantern, thus the "evil side" of him.

hope everyone enjoy this one...I kinda got the idea from some of Maruno's clues...hope you don't mind Maruno and by the way, you're up...
 
Not sure why Maruno hasn't started up with the next clue but here's another one for people to try their wits on....

The large, brown dog jumped over the chair, fast and quick.


Have fun with it....by the way, figuring out the clue will directly give you the Yugioh card name.
 
I totally forgot it was my turn. I was probably stuck on finding another cards I could use my "In the name of the Moon..." quote for. :p

Your clue looks a lot like "The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog", which is an example of a sentence using every letter in the alphabet.

Erm...

Not sure why you said "fast and quick", because they're synonyms. Which leads me to believe it's something to do with the sentence structure. The yellow is probably meaningless here. There's nothing hidden in the text when you quote it.

If it's anything like your last clue, it's going to be really obscure. Your blue to orange eyes was a really specific reference, especially to something I don't care for (Western comics). I'm going to have to wait for a few more clues before they might make sense. In the meantime, I'll try these:

Fox Fire (you're emphasising the quick part, which is the fox in the all-letter thing)
Mad Dog of Darkness
Nin-Ken Dog
