Okay, my turn. I'll try not to disappoint.

There's no point trying to oppose us. We are united against you.

Are we to assume it is, in fact, more than one card?

You can assume whatever you want. But note the thread title "YGO Card Name Game" with its singular version of the word "card".

This clue is multi-layered. The correct answer to this clue should provoke a further trail, which should (eventually) lead to the answer. The same applies to this one:

Think Romans of war.

I feel I should say that both clues above refer to the name of the card. Each clue comes from a different angle, so there's little sense trying to link them together somehow (although the last step of solving the clues is the same).

Strike #5:

Okay, I'll help you out a bit with this one. What kinds of Romans fight in wars? Soldiers. Lots of soldiers. Lots of soldiers were arranged in formations that made up the Roman Legion.

What do you guys know about Legion?

And also, because it's still an obscure path to the answer, I'll give another, more straightforward clue.

I arrive, and I'm there for everyone to admire. Except one.

Legion.... One Made of Many...

You're on the right lines there. Although the step from there to somewhere near the answer would take a Sci-Fi fan of epic proportions (such as myself :p ).

So, based on these 6 things, we need to guess it... let's see... aw heck... maybe later.

Destiny Board - No
The Last Warrior from Another Planet - No
Swarm of Scarabs - No
Orca Mega-Fortress of Darkness - No
Swarm of Locusts - No

You can ignore "Strike #2" above. I was just saying that it's one singular card, so don't go guessing "The Sarcophagi" or "All the parts of Destiny Board".

And I'd seriously suggest just concentrating on the end of "Strike #5", unless you're a big fan of Sci-Fi and think you can place all the other clues together somehow.

Go on, you can make that last paragraph "Strike #7" if you so desire. It's not saying anything new, though.

Ok, this will be my last guess for this riddle, ill wait for the next one if I get it wrong, which i'll probably will =/... anyways, I went and put 2 and 2 together and ended up with this:

Hero Signal

i think i have better luck finding Atlantis than solving this riddle...so my last guess is going to be *making some sci-fi*

Dark Hole

....and so be it.....

for the record...........it's tough!!!!!!

No thanks... :p I am now too confused to guess an answer... it is REALLY tought. BTW: I didn't see DaGuy around here the last time.

Hero Signal - No
Dark Hole - No

The Sci-Fi in question is about a journey through space. The second journey, to be more specific.

That probably won't help anyone. I honestly believe that single clue I gave in #5 is enough to correctly guess the answer. Just think about what's happening in that clue, and relate it to things that might normally happen in the game.

Zaborg the Thunder Monarch wins it.

- There's no point trying to oppose us. We are united against you.
A reference to "Resistance is futile" in the first sentence, which is the standard greeting of the Borg, one of the enemies in Star Trek. Indeed, "Zaborg" is close to how the Japanese would probably pronounce "The Borg". The second sentence describes how the Borg are literally united (connected minds - see below), and they seem to be everyone's enemy.

- Think Romans of war.
- Okay, I'll help you out a bit with this one. What kinds of Romans fight in wars? Soldiers. Lots of soldiers. Lots of soldiers were arranged in formations that made up the Roman Legion.
- What do you guys know about Legion?
Someone knew about Legion, how he was "one who is many". Another reference to the Borg, as there are trillions of individual Borg drones, but only one collective hive mind.

- The answer would take a Sci-Fi fan of epic proportions (such as myself :p ).
- The Sci-Fi in question is about a journey through space. The second journey, to be more specific.
That is, Star Trek The Next Generation (being as it is the second "journey through space"). The Borg first appeared in this series, and in my opinion don't have enough screentime dedicated to them.

- I arrive, and I'm there for everyone to admire. Except one.
This is the one relating directly to the card. He arrives (is Summoned), and everyone admires him (2400 ATK, a shiny LIGHT Thunder-Type monster, artwork, whatever). The only one who doesn't admire him is the one who's been sent away (destroyed by Zaborg's effect).

Jason_C, you're up.

Now THAT took some thinking! Kudos, Maruno! That was probably the best one we've ever had! (And only a true geek like me could've ever figured it out).

It's a topsy-turvy ride over here, but a straight path back.
