Kinda harsh there, don't you think? Every one of my guesses have been in line with your statements and clues. One tends to think that the last statements are additional in the direction we should be guessing at, true? Who's to say that the previous guessers had a better idea of what you're thinking, especially since everyone of them was wrong as well.

As far as things that stare me in the face, the only thing that keeps hitting me in the eye everytime I read your posts is your avatar, so I am thinking....

The first two sentences mean pretty much the same thing. The card is an Archfiend, even though its name doesn't include "Archfiend". And its name doesn't include "Archfiend", even though it is one. Means the same thing (as indicated by the "or perhaps", suggesting they aren't two separate clues, but rather rewordings of the same one).

The card isn't just an Archfiend either (or perhaps, not just not an Archfiend, if we go by the name). It's something else as well. And it implies that it's another category of monster as well as an Archfiend. Toon, for example. Some previous guessers were close, because they were guessing Toon Monsters.

The answer was staring you in the face the whole time.
