Now I'll review some cards that I DO like that's coming out. (Unlike Card Trooper) These cards are Destiny Hero support. But Destiny Hero, IMO, are way more powerful the E-Heros ever be. And with these supports, now they can be at a competitive level. (Seriously, these supports are WAY better then any of the E-Hero support cards given in Jaden packs) Let's start with the fresh new Destiny Hero Monster that in Aster Pack. -------------- Destiny Hero - Malicious Dark/Warrior/6/800/800 text from DMCOMET (i.e. not the offical English text) Remove this card from Graveyard from the game. Another card of Aster Phoenix pack. Man, I guess I'm slightly biased but I am a fan of D-Heros. (I like Machines more though) Before, I just ran Dashers, but with this pack being released, I'll run more then just 3x Dasher build with all these effects. Wow, with the power cards of Destiny Hero Malicious and Destiny Draw are gone, now for some weaker, but still good, effects. --------- Over Destiny Spell - Normal text from DMCOMET (i.e. not the offical English text) Choose a monster with [D-Hero] in its name from your Graveyard. Opps, I meant CDIP-EN036. Sorry Yay, another review for me. Anyway, today I'm doing a Fusion Monster that IMO is "somewhat" worthy in your Fusion deck. (Along with your Cyber Twin/End, Gatling,. Dark Balter, etc.) Cyber Ogre 2 Earth/Machine Fusion/7/2600/1900 [Cyber Ogre] + [Cyber Ogre] This card's Fusion Summon can only be done by above cards. When this card would attack, increase this card's attack strength by halved of the attack strength of the attacking target monster. Lets see, Fusion monsters usually needs either insane ATK point stat or broken effect to be good. Cyber Twin/End have insane ATK stat (Twin is "potentially" 5600ATK points) and TER got one of the stupidest broken effect for a fusion that it got...
The current most popular and the best pull of the new McDonald GX promotion. You can get this by buying a Kid/Happy Meal or like a Toy. Anyway, among the 20 card, this is considered the best right now and one of the new hottest Dragons. (Man, what's with the dragon fad these recent months in USA, is Kaiba secretly controlling the USA Konami division?) Another card, and meh, I'm SOOO running out of cards to review. This time, it's a spell card, and it's a card that's worth creating a whole deck theme out of. --------- Continuous Spell card The controller of this card pays 500 Life Points during each of their Standby Phases (this is not optional). Monster Cards that would be returned from the field to the hand are removed from play instead. --------- This card turns all bounce effects into removals. It pretty much sounds similar to Macrocosmos/Dimensional Fissure. Basically, this card can be a key in a bounce deck. It'll turn cards like Penguin Soldier into a card more feared then even Old Vindictive, turn Compulsory Evacuation Device into card more flexable then even...
I'm gunna review all three at the same time, cause their effects are VERY similar not to mention exact stats. Not to mention, they are the "key" mascots of this new Cyberdark Impact packs along with Cyberdark Dragon being the "king". Let's look at the similarities. Wow, I'm doing ALOT of CDIP. Maybe because I'm trying to tell people cards that are somewhat "worth" in this pile of stupid packs. Today is another non-monster review. So this is the effect. ---------- Flash of the Forbidden Spell Activate only when all of your opponent's Monster Card Zones are occupied by monsters. Destroy all monsters on your opponent's side of the field. -------- Hmm, did I just read that correctly, the last line says, "Destroy all monsters on your opponent's side of the field." Another monster. And another card that's one of the few decently good cards in this deck. Snipe Hunter Effect Monster Dark / Fiend / level 4 1500ATK / 600DEF Discard 1 card from your hand. Select 1 card on the field and roll a six-sided die. If the results is not a 1 or 6, destroy the selected card. Okay, the stats. It's a level 4 that's 1500ATK plus Dark. Gee, that means it's REALLY easy to search. You got Tomato and Sangan to work with. And it's a Fiend so you can use Dark Necrofear on it. Pretty good start. It's DEF is only 600, but that's not too important in this case. Now it's effect. You discard a card to attempt to destroy a card on the field. ANY card BTW, it can be on the foe's field, or even your OWN field...
Wow, I'm actually reviewing a non monster card today in the review. Anyway, let's see it's effect. Trap - Normal Activate only when an opponent's card effect shifts control of a monster from your side of the field to theirs. Destroy that 1 monster and inflict damage to your opponent equal to its ATK. Anyway, what does this do. Basically, if one or more monsters is gunna get stolen, you destroy that monster and do burn damage to it's ATK. Now, you might say, "I lose MY monster, what's the point." Well, like they say, "If your not with me, your against me." Better to lose your monster then getting your monster STOLEN. I have to do it. I mean, you should know I'm a machine fan by my icon and my sig. And this was probably the most hyped machine card ever in POTD. It's been awhile since the doctor did some judging of cards. Well, I got sidetracted on studing for YGO I guess. Anyway, I'm back for some more. I guess some of the reasons why I haven't been judging is cause alot of the "new" cards were kinda boring to judge for me. One of my most wanted Spellcaster Monster FINALLY came out. Geesh. But I gotta say... CAME OUT A BIT LATE! But still... lets rate it. Magician's Valkyria Dark / Spellcaster / level 4 1600 ATK / 1800 DEF Your opponent cannot select another Spellcaster-Type monster on your side of the field as an attack target. Okay, wow, it's pretty short, and obvious that we've seen these types of effects before. It's the effects of Command Knight, Marauding Captain, Soul-Absorbing Bone Tower, etc. Basically, you either HAVE to attack that, or have to attack another type other then that card.
