Just to quickly clarify this, it came up in some duels recently that I had, involving Black Luster Soldier - Envoy Of The Beginning. I know about the usual priority issues about the player's use of priority with certain monster effects (i.e. BLS). When BLS is successfully special summoned...

Sounds about right...reminds me about an old ruling I had once regarding Yata and Infinite Dismissal on the field... The answer given was the turn player chooses which effect to resolve first...so I would be rather surprised to see that ruling changed in this case, as it is quite similar.
