If you're worried about "Heavy Storm" or "Mystical Space Typhoon", then use "Judgment of Anubis". Spell negation AND destroying a monster AND doing effect damage to the opponent! All for just 2 cards.
As Digital Jedi mentioned, the answer is in the rulings...
Perhaps your friend is just confused because you can't chain "Skill Drain" to a Flip Effect that is activated as a result of a monster being attacked, but if it's already active, then it will negate even those flip effects...
I forgot that it was a mandatory trigger efffect. I was thinking of "Injection Fairy Lily" where it's an optional effect. That being the case, "Kinetic Soldier" would have to be link 1 and "Limiter Removal" would be link 2. A blade146 stated, you can activate, chain and resolve a chain, but you...
According to the Damage Step Chart, both effects are activatable during the same part of the Damage Step. You can chain the effects to each other, but you cannot activate them separately.
If I'm reading that correcty, you should be able to activate "Limiter Removal" and chain "Kinetic...
OK, this is not the first time I've heard of this "Negate Attack"-must-be-the-frist-thing-activated-in-response-to-an-attack idea and I don't know where it comes from. The rulings do not support this stance.
And that's just the first one I found. "Negate Attack" is a counter trap. As such, it...
I disagree. That's no different from the current wording. In fact, it's kind of superfluous and aren't you always complaining about superfluous wording?
You've got an event, and an effect that references that event for the timing of its trigger. The next Standby Phase after the Special...
That's not the question. The question is whether it triggers EVERY Standby Phase after it's Special Summoned. The text just does not support that stance and I don't know how anyone could extrapolate that from the text.
And I did not attribute anything "turn specific" to the effect.
Still... You have an event of reference (the Special Summon), and an effect that happens during the next Standby Phase after it. It doesn't get much more straight-forward than that.
All cards in a chain remain on the field until the entire chain resolves unless destroyed by previous effect on the chain.
If you activate "Raigeki Break" in a chain to "Chaos Emperor Dragon - Envoy of the End"s effect, "Raigeki Break" will destroy "Chaos Emperor Dragon - Envoy of the End"...
Yeah. If the guy was smart, he'd let the attack continue and wait to activate "Rush Recklessly" until the damage step when the opponent cannot activate "Magic Cylinder".
