No offense to the judges where you are, but that would be pretty stupid for them to say "oh it's unusable with the way it's printed" since it is an obvious Misprint. That would be like saying I can't use Solemn Judgment because the Counter Trap symbol isn't on the card.

Again, I'm going to repeat what I said about "Counter Counter" and "Common Sense". Further since it is a Misprint, you again would still be able to use it properly. And why do people keep asking about whether or not they have to show the cards picked up from "Crystal Seer" to the opponent...

Considering the effect is to "negate the Activation and Effect of a Counter Trap" a little common sense would tell you that it was a misprint. And from what I heard, it wasn't the only one. Regardless, it'll be fixed with the Unlimited reprints sure enough. *shrug*

Most card effects that say "pick up" usually have both people look at what was picked up in order to verify the contents of the cards to make sure the effect is fulfilled. A few state that the opponent cannot look at what was picked up (like Pigeonholing Book of Spell) which is redundant since...

Apparently most of the good cards from TAEV have had their rarities jacked up from what they were in the OCG. Vennominon was a Super, is now an Ultra. Rainbow Dragon was an Ultra, is now a Secret here. The same looks to be true for Vennominaga (though not confirmed yet). Frost and Flame...

It was a Short Print Common in Japan meaning the odds on pulling one would be about as good as pulling a specific Super or Ultra. And while it says pick up 2, nothing indicates that you have to show your opponent anything. What you have to do though is make sure you don't add the 2 to your hand.
