    Cloudian Trouble :P

Because the card was returned to your Hand, it is seen as a completely different card. You will get the effect of "Lucky Cloud".

    Brain Control uses the Chain?

Because you have multiple effects that need to activate/resolve during the End Phase, you get to choose the order in which you activate/resolve them. They do not form a chain. They activate/resolve separately.

    Ruling reversals - Continuous Traps

"Fairy Box", "Robbin' Goblin", "Ordeal of a Traveler". I corrected the person in that thread as well....;) There are three types of Continuous Spells/Traps. 1. Truly Continuous where their effect is active from the moment the card resolves into play. This effect does not use the chain when...

How to know if an Effect is Multi-Trigger or not?

For the most part, the only Multi-Triggered Effects that can be activated during the Damage Step are those that negate the activation of whatever they negate, or those that are specifically designed to work at that time ("Lily"). If they only negate the effect ("Ryu Senshi", "Dark Balter")...

    Ruling reversals - Continuous Traps

I'd like to correct Dillie-Os post above. "Appropriate" and "Forced Requisition" do not have Trigger-like effects. They are Continuous Traps with Continuous effects. Neither of their effects use the chain.

    Jinzo question

I know this topic was 'put to rest' a few days ago, but I still feel the need to clarify a few things. 1. "Skill Drain" and "Jinzo" do not work the same. Please do not compare the two with each other. 2. "Jinzo" only cares about the effect of the card in question. He does not care about...

    When fusion is not fusion

The term 'nomi' is the Japanese word for 'only'. So, a 'nomi' monster can only be summoned via the method written in its text (which is generally from the hand). That means you cannot summon that monster from the Graveyard or RFP zone even if it was summoned properly first. A 'Special Summon...

    Dark world and rituals....

I'm sorry, but Dillie-Os answer is not correct. There are no costs involved with Ritual Spell Cards. All cards are sent during the resolution of the card effect. The reason Ritual Spells do not work with "Dark World" monsters is because they all tribute the monsters from the field or hand...

    LIGHT LORD QUESTIONS

    1. You can see the cards affected by the ruling reversal here: http://entertainment.upperdeck.com/COMMUNITY/forums/thread/1183655.aspx 2. Correct, he stops both players from being able to target "Lightsworn" monsters. 3. We won't.

    Chaining made easy

Effects that are slated to happen during a Phase will never automatically form a chain. (Standby Phase, End Phase, End of the Battle Phase, etc...) If the effects stated 'at the beginning of the Phase', then they would form a chain automatically when triggered.

    Batteryman Micro-cell effect.

I think everybody needs to re-visit the Battle Phase chart found on this very site. http://www.cogonline.net/forums//threads/6503 It seems a few people are confused about just how things work with regards to attacks.

    Batteryman Micro-cell effect.

A face-down monster is flipped face-up by an attack during Sub Step 2 of the Damage Step. The monster is considered to be destroyed during Sub Step 5 of the Damage Step, and will be sent to the Graveyard during Sub Step 6. The monsters you listed must already be face-up when the attack is...

    Destruction Jammer

If I'm not mistaken...you've never been able to respond to a Continuous Spell/Trap Cards effect activation with a Counter Trap.
  15. S

    Destruction Jammer

Two things... 1. Reading the card text explains what the card does.... It negates the activation of cards, not only the effect. 2. Perhaps checking the official rulings for "Destruction Jammer" would clarify the correct answer.... Enjoy..

    Deflected Damage.

And I'm going to disagree and support the ruling given by DLoC. The Trap Card itself is not dealing any damage. It is merely redirecting that damage back to the other player. The source of the Battle Damage is still the monster attacking.

    Chain problem

    Yes, that sounds about right.

    Chain problem

You have a SEGOC situation, but not a 'standard' one. One thing that has recently been clarified by UDE is that there are different types of SEGOC chains. The chain you've presented here doesn't follow the standard SEGOC chaining rules because you have effects being triggered at different...
