I have my obvious doubts about this list. However, if it was released in Japan already then it's official. The only card I really hate being banned is
Ring of Destruction. It wasn't that hard to get around and why bother banning a card that you can obviously bypass?
Book of Mooning the target was a nice tactic against Ring of Destrustion.
Sinister Serpent, that's another surprise to me. I didn't think that the little guy would make it on the ban list. Duo I knew would get thrown back on but instead of my prediction of getting
The Forceful Sentry back we got
Confiscation instead. Which of course was a better choice in some ways. They banned
Graceful Charity because of the obvious reasons of what's in Elemental Energy. They have monsters in that set that thrive off discard so I wasn't surprised when I saw that.
Now I kind of see why
Book of Moon was limited but I kind of don't. Who cares of your
Morphing Jar gets re-used. The only reason it was limited in the first place was because of Mexico at Worlds.
This might have killed Chaos decks to pretty harshly to the point where they'd have to use
Chaos Sorcerer, but at least one of the main stream decks are gone. But what's this? In Elemental Energy you still have a new CC deck! This deck will soon come out as "Dark Realms" decks. (Or whatever the translation says.) They thrive off Discard effects. So cards like
Rising Energy are going to get abused. I've already have plans to make one of these decks because I know the sheer annoyance that the Dark Realms monsters can dish out. I was hoping
Morphing Jar was going to get banned because of it. I'm at least glad that they're self-aware of the fact
Card Destruction would see a ton of play in Dark Realms decks. After all, they thrive off Discard costs.
Trust me when I say this, when people find out some of the more sickening combos with Dark Realms monsters, they'll scream for Chaos to come back. Dark Realms is far more suprerior than Chaos EVER will become. I feel kinda sorry for Traditional players. xD
