Fantasy Card Review - Spells

Ah, hadn't visited these threads in a while.

Spell-ing Bee
Quick-Play Spell
You can only activate this card during a Main Phase. After activation, this card is treated as an Effect Monster Card (Reptile-Type/EARTH/Level 4/ATK 500/DEF 3000), and is Special Summoned to your Monster Card Zone in face-up Defense Position. (This card is also still treated as a Spell Card.) As long as this card remains face-up on the field your opponent cannot destroy any card that includes "Spirit Message" in its card name, or is named "Destiny Board".

And since we are making rulings too ;)

Once "Spell-ing Bee" has been activated, it only takes up 1 Monster Card Zone. It does not occupy 1 Spell & Trap Card Zone like "Embodiment of Apophis".

Ooh.. that's nice. But I'll hafta disagree with your ruling (yeah, I'm disagreeing with you about YOUR card e.e). You said it is still treated as a spell. How, then, does it not take up a S/T zone?

Ok, here comes another:

WTF?
(equip spell card)
The equipped monster's ATK is increased by an amount equal to half the DEF of one monster on your opponent's side of the field, unless the opponent's monster's DEF is greater than 2000, in which case the equippend monster's DEF is increased instead of its ATK. If the opponent controls no face up monsters, the equipped monster's ATK is increased by an amount equal to twice the difference between your Life points and you opponent's. If you and your opponent have the same number of Life points, the equipped monster is destroyed during the end phase. At that time, this card is equipped to a monster on your opponent's side of the field.

Did you get that? Read it VERY CAREFULLY, and you'll find something interesting... CAREFULLY...

you know you wouldnt mind having a card like that. Its just for trap and spell cards. its not a big deal :)

okay heres another.

Mean While...
Quick-Play
"Activate this card only when your opponent Normal Summon, Flip Summon, or Special Summon a Creature, Search your opponents deck for a creature with equal or less current attack power and special summon it on your side of the field"

(ruling: If the opponent special summons a Trap monster, search your opponents deck for a monster equal to its attack power. If the monster summoned increases its attack (Command Knight, Blade Knight, etc..) power search for a monster with its current attack power not original. If the monster summon is Fusiler dragon and with out tribute you search for a 1400 attacker not a 2800 attacker)

Ok, here comes another one:

Complete BS
Normal Spell
Make one False statement regarding the ATK or DEF of one of your face down monsters. Flip the face down monster face up (flip effects are not activated) and compare its ATK or DEF to your statement. If your opponent yells "You liar!!!!" then the monster is destroyed. If your opponent say "Why the **** are you showing me your card??" increase your life points by 1000. If your opponent does not know the meaning of "BS", you may conduct your battle phase twice this turn. If your opponent sits quietly, you are a very bad liar, and must skip your next turn.

Ok, I'll admit, that was pretty dumb...

Supreme Sacrifice
Ritual Spell
This card is used to Ritual Summon any Ritual Monster. You must also Tribute monsters from the field or your hand whose total Levels equal the Level of the Ritual Monster you are Ritual Summoning + 8.

Katon - Goukakyu no Jutsu!
Continuous Spell
Select 1 FIRE monster on your side of the field to activate this card. The selected monster cannot attack this turn. If the selected monster is removed from the field, destroy this card. During your next Standby Phase, destroy 1 monster on your opponent's side of the field and inflict damage to your opponent's Life Points equal to the ATK of the destroyed monster, then destroy this card.

Ok, I'm making a set. Mathematical Magic, Otherwise know as MMA. It's gonna have spells, traps, and monsters, but I'll just post them all here, since I can't really be bothered to... Ok, here goes...

MMA-000
Master Mathematician
Light-Machine-Ritual-12 stars-3200-3200
This card cannot be normal summoned or set. This card can only be special summoned with the Ritual Magic Card "The Quadratic Formula". Increase this cards ATK and DEF by an amount equal to the combined ATK and DEF of all other monsters on the field -1000. This card can attack your opponent directly if you and your opponent both have an even number or odd number of monsters on the field. If the number of cards in your grave is prime, you may discard one card from your hand to destroy all cards on the opponent's field. If the number of cards in your grave is composite, this card is unaffected by your opponent's trap. This card cannot be the target of a monster's effect.

The Quadratic Formula
Ritual-Magic
This card is used to summon any monster with "Mathematician" in its card name. You must offer monsters from the field or your hand whose total level stars are equal to or greater than the number of cards in your deck divided by the number of cards in your grave. (Toon Table of Contents, anyone?)

4th Century Mathematician
Dark-Warrior-Ritual-4 stars-1700-1900
THis card can only be Ritual summoned with the ritual magic card "The Quadratic Formula" or by the Ritual Magic card "Ancient Math". This card's ATK and DEF are increased by the number of monsters tributed to summon this card x500. This card is unaffected by spells, traps, and monster effects as long as you have the same number of cards in your hand as are in your opponent's hand.

NEW!!!! Ancient Math
Ritual-Magic
This card is used to summon "4th Century Mathematician" or "Al Jabr Students". You must also offer tributes whose level stars are equal to the difference between 3 times the level of the monster and the level of one monster on the field.

Bah! That's all for now, I'll edit this with more later.

yea, I did take it off a comic, so you were close.

Initially the "Meanwhile.." strips appeared in johnny the homicidal maniac or squee!!

later in Squee!! : BIg book of scary(forgot the rest) Jhonen vasquez put all the little "Meanwhile.." strips and just put them back to back. creating one funny set of events.

from a child that cant let go of his mom to a baby explodid and even Cross walking "Gods" lol

very entertaining.

Glass Ceiling
Continuous Spell Card
As long as this card remains face-up on the field, a monster's ATK value cannot increase above it's original ATK. Also, the ATK of all monsters on the field becomes their original ATK.

I enjoyed these threads so much more when people posted only one card at a time. I'm guilty of that myself, but its so much more fun to read a single effect then trying to digest a whole list.

That means that Glass Ceiling can still have it's ATK modified by Megamorph as it changes the Original ATK.

Me 2...:D
Although they're from a set I dreamed, I figure I will post several of them at a time. So here it goes:

Buried Past

BRP-EN041
D. D. Typhoon
SPELL
Pay 600 Life Points. Select and destroy 1 Spell or Trap card on the field and remove it from play.
Rare

BRP-EN043
Skill Crush
NORMAL SPELL
Pay 800 Life Points. Select and destroy a face-up Effect monster on the field.
Super Rare/Ultimate Rare

And some other randoms:

Holo Killer
QUICK-PLAY SPELL
Pay half of your Life Points. Look at all cards on the field and in either player's hand and graveyard, and remove all cards that have a shining surface (Super Rare or higher.) After that, inflict damage to each player's Life Points equal to the number of cards they own that are removed *100. The controller of this card cannot directly chain a Trap card to the activation of this card.
(It is worth an Ultra Rare I guess... but I will make it common)

Let the poor shouts: What do you say, rich boy?
XD

I sure HOPE that you'd mean your opponent's Life Points with Holo Killer, not yours :D Otherwise you are commiting suicide ;)

Darwin's Waiting Room
Field Spell Card
As long as this card remains face-up on the field, monsters with "LV" in their card name cannot be tributed under any circumstances.

I like the name of that one. LOL Let's see...

Divided We Fall
Equip Spell
Each time the monster equipped with this card destroys a monster as a result of battle decrease the ATK of all face-up monsters on your opponent's side of the field x500 for each monster on your opponent's side of the field.
