Next ban list. What would you like gone/back?

Well, we are getting close to the next ban list and I was wondering what everybodys thoughts were on what may or may not be banned or what we might get back. And to what we would like back.

Personally, with Hydrogeddon and the Gadgets, I would like to see Cyber Jar back. And with Chain Strike being the "New Burn", Imperial Order! (Ya I know, it'll never happen, but it's fun to think about it).
 
Treeborn is limited and isnt causing much pain to anyone due to that so its probably gonna stay that way. What i want back is some stall. LLAB up to 2 along with gravity bind up to 2 as well. Ya know something useful like that.

monarchs thive on this card it's a free monster every turn thats is crazy and i would like to see some stall as well
 
Treeborn Frog I don't feel needs any sort of banning at all. It's a perfectly balanced monster, and if misused, it gives your opponent an advantage.

I wish myself for Scapegoat to be unrestricted. And here is why, if Scapegoat is unrestricted, it'll reduce the number of Cyber Dragons seeing play, seeing how fields will be too clogged with goat tokens. As well as that, it will also reintroduce Trample as another highly competitive decktype. Monsters such as Enraged Battle Ox and Exarion Universe can see high-level play again.
 
I would like a little bit of stall back, I agree with emerald dragon about that. Cyberjar really is a bit too powerful to be brought back though, as much as I like it.

I would like to keep snatch steal banned however.

Scapegoat back to two would be good, I think that 3 would be too many. TER would be nice to have back, if they errataed it to be fusion summon only. I miss my "proper fusion" TER/relinquished deck!
Perhaps bring royal decree down to one copy?

On the whole, I am not that unhappy with the current list.
 
I definately think treeborn frog should be banned and i wish they would unban chaos sorcerer but i doubt that will happen
 
Considering that the Neo-Chaos monsters will be out in Japan before the next list to give them time to see how badly players abuse them, that pretty much signals that the OG Chaos Monsters will enjoy a permanent home on the list.

And personally, I'd like to see Monster Reborn come back (it won't) and see Magician of Faith take a 6 month snooze.
 
ever since i heard about the gadgets i wanted and waited for them to come out in the u.s., but now that they're here and i've play tested against them with some of my other decks i want them nerfed a little and the only card on the list right now that i really want back cuz i really didn't get to have fun with in advanced tournaments was exchange of the spirits
 
These are my changes

Exiled Force x1 per deck. (2x is too much. It's not broken enough to be banned, but 2x is too abusive)

Metamorphosis x2 per deck. (TER is banned, Tsukuyomi is banned, Scapegoat is 1x per deck... no real reason why this card need to be 1x)

No, Royal Decree is needed 3x. It's to counter decks that runs nothing but traps and think they're safe. 3x Decree + Jinzo balance out the Trap abuse. Besides, if you destroy all of your foe's monster field presence, the player will die outright by their own Decree cause they can't use traps to protect themselves. It's a balanced card.

I think Ring of Destruction should go back to being banned.

IMO, gravity Bind and LLAB being 1x is perfectly fine.

Scapegoat should stay 1x per deck IMO. Too annoying. Trample/Wanghu/etc. monsters mean nothing if they got saku/BTH/etc ready.

Maybe we'll get Chaos Sorcerer and Cyber-Stein to 1x per deck in the future, when we get better cards to counter Cyber-Stein. (And when Japan creates cards to counter Chaos Sorcerer better)

DMEN, AMEN!!! I'm tired of the fact that too many players stack their decks with Exiled, get it with Last Will, Call/Premature it and you can't do much of anything to stop it....Forced Back for the initial summon or pay a ton of lp w/ Solemn Judgement....Exiled Force needs to go the way of Cyber Stein....or change the text to read, " Pay 2000 lp to activate the effect of this card....">>>>>

BTW....Bring back Magical Scientist, lose MoF, bring back Harpie's Feather Duster....what's the difference....we already have Heavy Storm and not too many players use it AFTER they set their own S/T cards....lol
 
i wish we'd get witch of the black forest back...we could sure use that for a faster jinzo...

i miss the witch..and FIBER JAR..i loved that thing..
 
I see no reason not to bring back Pot of Greed. Someone in Konami subscribes to the +1 card advantage theory, which is a load of bullocks. Not really sure why Spirit Reaper was banned to begin with. I don't recall any grand abuse combo with them other then some stall decks. Even then you could get about five turns out of it. Level Limit and Gravity Bind also made no sense other then to cull the number of stall decks out there in favor of more aggressive cards from newer sets. I wouldn't mind seeing Mirage of Nightmare back at one.

But make no mistake, the next ban list will be a marketing decision. Whatever perpetuates the sales of the next six months sets and keeps people from recycling older cards will be at the heart of what we see on that next list.
 
I'd like to see stuff like Widespread, Smashing, and Sakuretsu limited, and let the game be more about whacking each other with monsters, and not just running into trap after trap. Speed the game up some.
 
on the next banned and limited list the yshould limit exiled foece
1 as fine as it's a bad top deck.
the monarches shoud be limited as there really annoying in multipuls because people just tribute zaborg for another zaborg then another then they move on to another monarche.

it would be nice to have pot greed back in place of graceful charity it's just better.

i would also like to a return of witch of the black forest limited to one of course.
maybe chaos sourcerer but only if they limited the monarches.

i'd like to dust tornadoe go on the limited list.
as it's basicaly a trap version of mystical space typhoon.
apart you have to wait a turn before you can use it.
 
I think there's a "Pay 500, Destroy a face up spell/trap" card coming out in the new set, so MST being banned wouldn't be a big surprise at all.
 
i think its called twister

its a quick play spell.

but i've seen 2 differet translations for this card.

pay 500 life to activate this card and destroy 1 spell or trap card on the field. just mystical space typhoon.

heres the other one i've seen.
pay 500 life to destroy 1 face up spell or trap card on the field.
simlar to mystical space typhoon except the card needs to be face up.

it's a like a mini trap version of pot of averice.
you get less cards but theres no restrictions on what you.
i want this card to be on to limited list.
