YGO Card Name Game

No, sir. These clues (similar to what Maruno did, but not so nearly esoteric) will lead you to the answer, but first you have to figure the first part out. In fact, you definitely won't get the answer from just what you have so far, unless you can REALLY think outside the box. There is a chain of thought that launches when you find the commonality between the Lion & Tiger & Bear. While it is possible to start with the second part of teh clue and work backward, it will take a whole lot of guessing, as the possibilities are great.

When I saw that, I immediately thought "Power Rangers". No idea why. I'm sure there's been a "zord" of each of those animals at some point, and they've probably all been the chest piece in a Megazord. The chest piece of the nearest Yu-Gi-Oh! equivalent would be X-Head Cannon.

ya... i thought of the wizard of OZ and i also thought of Vultron... haha... form feet and head, form arms and torso, and Ill form, the head..hahahha

anywho..
the lions and tigers and bears need help?? or does dorothy.. cuz she went to the wizard for help... and there are so many ways to say wizard.. Dark Sage... Dark Magician .. but it would be a helper... Breaker the Magical Warrior...
I dunno, somehow Im thinking spellcaster here..

however, there is still the fact that they could need help from the harpies.... Winged Sage Falcos, and then there is the Harpies... gosh... I think i am confusing myself more than anything...

hmmm... think think think... !!

AAHHHHH !!!! Spiritual Earth Art-Kurogane
yep.. thats my guess

No. And I tried this riddle out on a cleaver friend of mine, and I had to walk him through most of it, so I'm afraid I may have made it too remote. Okay. First I will recap, and then I will hint.

Riddle:

Lion & Tiger & Bear, O' me. I may need more help!

Hint: Don't take it at face value.

(Meaning look beyond what you see about them)

Hint: What do they have in common?

(Explained further: Oh, and the bear in question is like a Kodiak, or

Grizzly Bear, certainly not a wimpy Black, Koala or Panda Bear.)

So: The question is, what does a Lion & Tiger & Bear (especially, unlike the Koala, Black or Panda) have in common, besides the obvious things about them you see?

Example: You might say that they ROAR (except technically a Tiger hisses), which would lead you to Archfiend's Roar, which could make sense, as it SS help. Or Threatening Roar, which is, itself, help. It isn't ROAR, but that is the kind of similarity I mean, that you can't just see, you have to know it.

Okay, so start naming similarities (with or without cards).

Hmm.

Mother Grizzly pops to mind. Perhaps two other cards that assist a certain kind of card are the other two animals, and then we're looking for a fourth. Fenrir is a wolf, but that's about the only other animal I can find that assists Water monsters in some way.

Following the Beast line, there's Leogun from MRD, a set widely known to contain the Elemental +500/-400 monsters. If it's lion, tiger and bear, they strike me as being Earth monsters, so the one that would benefit Earth monsters is Milus Radiant, a cute little doggy (also a Beast).

Nope. Beast / Earth; In fact any Type or Attribute (gamewise speaking) is too obvious. I mean, there is something in common with the actual, real live Lion & Tiger & (non-wimpy) Bear ('cause those other bears don't fall into this catagory/group).

They're carnivorous (perhaps). They're predators. We're looking for a card that looks like the Predator.

Hmm...

Nope, can't remember one at the moment.

YES! YES! YES! Carnivour! Carnivour! Carnivour! Now, stay with it....

Hint: You may need help from Hellen (not DeGenres) to understand it.

Oh, but no on the "looks like". Wrong angle.

Could you be refering to Hymenoptera: Ichneumonidae ... also referred to as Hellen... A parasitic fly ( ancient long legged deer fly) similar to a moth in appearance....

but what does that have to do with lions tigers and really aggressive bears... hmmm

there was also a story about a couple of people.. michael and Hellen... i believe they were mauled by an ultra aggressive Rhino...

dude, you are confusing me,, i am going to stick withjust playing YGO instead of something like this that makes you have to think.. hahaha....

you also say .. need help... hmm . maybe referring to something like an equip card for beats like:
Beast Fangs
So that's what you said.

How about, if it's carnivorous, that means it destroys monsters. Perhaps an Insect-Type monster that has an effect that destroys monsters?

4-Starred Ladybug of Doom
Nobleman-Eater Bug
Swarm of Scarabs (I suppose they might look like moths)

No to all.

You're looking for carnivores......okay, but this "carnivore" is one in name only"

He's gone all French on us. How odd.

There's a reason for this, but not necessarily French ("not DeGeneres" Ellen/Hellen, same thing). therefore,
