Well, the anime did feature the talking cat Luna, who introduced all the characters to their powers, so I suppose that's somewhat related.

Okay, research and time for something different in direction. IMO, the phrase refers to Sailor Chibi-Moon and I'm thinking of her history. Sent back in time to train by her future parents, Neo Queen Serenity. Maybe something along the lines of.....?

and since thats more than one cartoon, it may be refering to a whole slew of them... ( of course I just looked at Marunos responses above where he sorts out everyones mistakes)...

Yes, please do note I've only given one clue, and that was Sailor Moon's catchphrase. Ignore The Simpsons - it's completely irrelevant. If it was relevant I wouldn't have explained it so thoroughly.

The one clue I have given is all you need. And I do mean it here; it's not like some of the other rounds which almost depend upon other clues to reveal a completely obscure trail of thought which leads to something vaguely resembling the right answer. That clue again, if you're too lazy to flip back a couple of pages, is:

Sailor Moon is indeed a heroine, but "Hero" cards are not the answer. Nor are LordLight2's guesses, whose derivations quite frankly elude me.
 
the only thing i can think of right now is ryu senshi as when i went to wiki for anything i might have forgotten they kept calling them sailor moon sailor senshi

Perhaps translating it will help. That's a hint to say the clue is NOT about the anime series Sailor Moon, but rather about that phrase (which I said before, when I said:)

Although, having said that, there is also a link between Sailor Moon and the clue. But you shouldn't worry about that. You should be considering the words rather than their connections.

The name of the moon is LUNA, so the only clear choice for me is...

Heh, I must have forgotten about that. I have a poor memory for random details.

Tsukiyomi is a nice guess, but it's not the card I'm thinking of. The other guesses are wrong too.
 
hmm in the name of the moon... that may suggest NOT daytime.... vampires and werewolves feed onthe night, and moon.... and they seem to punish whatever they happen across... but since we already discovered its not wolves.... I am going to go with

I had a strange leap of logic and in truth, can't for the life of me remember it now...so for now, I'll just say Call of the Haunted and be done with it.
 
Hm, Mask of Darkness or Time Seal? They work well with Tsukiyomi.

Random guess, Spirit's Invitation? I'm thinking Spirits, and this is the only card that punishes the opponent when you have a Spirit (as opposed to the others, which punish your opponent for having Spirits. Other people can guess those).

True enough, but entirely irrelevant here. The card I'm thinking of is a related card, but not in a gameplay way.

Perhaps you need to think about where this game is from to see where this round is going.


EDIT: Oh yeah, all guesses are incorrect. Should've probably mentioned that :p
