YGO Card Name Game

Blah. I thought Red Archery Girl had already been guessed, which is why I didn't. I certainly knew about her, because I'm a fan of Toon monsters.

Perhaps I should learn the lesson of not sharing my thoughts with people I'm in competition with.

I thought it had been guessed as well and had to go back through all the previous posts to check. The turn came for me on the third clue when I realized that it had to do with change as well as something being the same and yet not a "mirror" of the card. I know I sound confusing but sometimes my thought patterns are that way. Just ask my wife who is constantly heard saying to me, "Where in the world did you come up with that idea?" Not sure what she means, but oh well....on to the next braintwister....

I went to the movie store the other day and bought an old Clark Gable movie but after watching it, threw it away and another movie as well.

Hah, that's funny! I was thinking about Gone With the Wind as a reference to Scarlett to point to the Red in mine. It was too far fetched, but i think like that, so in keeping with far fetched thinking, I will say:

D.D.Warrior Lady
Or Tribute to the Doomed

Graceful Charity?
That new version of Graceful Charity whose name I can't remember and am too lazy to look up?
Herald of the [Insert Colour Here] Light?

Wow, I really am lazy tonight...

Sorry, all are wrong. Dig deeper into what the movie is and it should lead you in the right direction.

*Edit- Sorry, DarkLogicianofChaos has the movie correct. Go from there.

Well there are only 3 cards with "wind" in their names that have a 1+1 effect:
Phoenix Wing Wind Blast. Which with all the Harry Potter stuff flying around...
Spiritual Wind Art - Miyabi. Of course, the Spiritual Arts are still fresh on our minds.
or Most likely...
Whirlwind Prodigy. Take as 2 Tributes and call me in the morning.

Let's try this and see if it helps a little more...

I got the movie after putting another out of reach but I didn't just throw away the movie after I got it, more like it got destroyed.

Storming Wynn? When she leaves, the monster she summons is "Gone With The Wynn".

Might as well also try Familiar-Possessed Wynn and Wynn the Wind Charmer.

No, I'm afraid it's Silpheed. Please tell me I'm wrong.

Okay- you're wrong! (did what you told me...

)

The truth is- you're right...it is Silpheed

This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by removing from play 1 WIND monster in your Graveyard. When this card is destroyed as a result of battle and sent to the Graveyard, your opponent discards 1 random card from their hand.

In order to get Gone With The Wind, had to move another from reach (removed WIND from play) and threw is away after it was destroyed (card destroyed and sent to the graveyard) and another movie too (opponent discards from their hand).

Guess it was simple enough. Will have to come up with something harder next time (given the opportunity....)

You're up Chaos

Drat! I was afraid of that. And here I am taking my eldest back to Tech. I'm on now at the library (supposed to be buying snacks for the trip). Okay, let's get this going with another easy one. With a little search, you can find him (real person). Clue:

Who is Baum?

Maruno got it! First try. Sorry for the wait. Yes, L. Frank Baum wrote The Wizard of Oz, and as such would be the Master of Oz. Okay, I'm out for awhile. Have fun.
