You MUST Special Summon a FIRE monster with level stars equal to or less then the discarded card in order to destroy one of your monsters and inflict damage to your opponent.

I'm sick of this garbage. V2Z needs to be able to fuse when they aren't all from the same family. They all make one big guy in the end, shouldn't they be able to stick together individually?

These three cards are the basis of a structure deck I was brainstorming, and I figured I'd share them. One of the ideas that I've ben toying with is Ritual-style monsters whose spells can do something other than Ritual Summon.

The theme of the deck is based off of the biblical fall of the Angels, and these are the centerpiece of that idea (hint: reverse the names). I've also given many of the Fairies in the deck abilities that involve Levels, many of them having to do with gaining life.

Graceful Ascent (Jpn. Name: Rise of the Morningstar)
Quickplay Magic
Select and activate one of the following effects:
* Tribute monsters with 8 or more Levels from your hand or field to Special Summon 1 "Reficul - The Graceful" from your hand, Deck, or Graveyard. You may only activate this effect during your turn.
* You may only actiate thie effect if you control a face-up "Reficul - The Graceful". Flip all face-down monsters into face-up Attack Position. (Flip Effects are not activated at this time.) You gain Life Points equal to 500 points x the total Levels of face-up monsters on the field.

Rulings
You may Special Summon "Reficul - The Graceful" at any time during your turn through the effect of this card, so long as you have the correct Levels to Tribute.

You may only activate the second effect if you control a "Reficul - The Graceful". If "Reficul - The Graceful" is turned face-down before Graceful Ascent resolves, such as with a chained Book of Moon, the second effect is not negated, and "Reficul - The Graceful" will be flipped face-up upon resolution.


Reficul - The Graceful (Jpn. Name: Reficul - The Morningstar Angel)
LIGHT/Fairy/*********/3100/2900
If this card is Special Summoned by the effect of "Graceful Ascent", Special Summon Fairy-Type monsters with a combined ATK no greater than half of your current Life Points from your Graveyard. During each Standby Phase, increase the Life Points of this card's owner by 100 points x the total Levels of face-up Monsters on the field. When this card is removed from the field, you may remove it from play instead and pay half of your current Life Points to Special Summon 1 "Reficul - The Disgraced" from your hand or Deck.

Rulings
The Special Summon is mandatory; you cannot miss the timing.

You may choose to Special Summon no Fairy-Type monsters with "Reficul - the Graceful"'s effect. This is legal, as a combined ATK of 0 is always considered to be less than half of your current Life Points.

The lifegain effect is separate fron the Special Summon effect. Even if you Normal Summon "Reficul - The Graceful", you still gain the Life Points during each Standby Phase.

The lifegain effect activates during each Standby Phase, both yours and your opponent's.

If you had originally played "Reficul - The Graceful", you would gain the life each Standby Phase, no matter who's controlling him.


Reficul - The Disgraced (Jpn. Name: Reficul - The Fallen Angel)
DARK/Fairy/*********/3100/2900
This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by the effect of "Reficul - The Graceful". During your Standby Phase, pay half of your current Life Points or destroy this card. (This payment is not optional.) This card is unaffected by Spell or Trap cards your opponent controls. This card cannot be destroyed except as a result of battle. While this card remains face-up on the field, all other face-up Fairy-Type monsters change their Attribute to DARK, and increase their ATK by 1000 points when battling a monster with equal or higher Level Stars.

Rulings
The Attribute of all other Fairy-Type monsters, including those of your opponent, is treated only as DARK as long as "Reficul - The Disgraced" is face-up on the field.

Luster Magician
[WIND / Spellcaster/Union/Effect / 4 Stars / ATK 1000 / DEF 1000]
Once per turn, during your Main Phase, if you control this card on the field, you can equip it to your "Lackluster Soldier" as an Equip Card, OR unequip the Union equipment and Special Summon this card in face-up Attack Position. While equipped to a monster by this card's effect, increase the ATK of the equipped monster by 2000 points. When it attacks with an ATK that is higher than the DEF of a Defense Position monster, send the top card of your opponent's Deck to the Graveyard. (1 monster can only be equipped with 1 Union Monster at a time. If the equipped monster is destroyed as a result of battle, destroy this card instead.)


Water Hebi

As long as this card remains face-up on the field, increase the ATK and DEF of all Sea Serpent-Type monsters on the field by 500 points.
 
Nice, Maruno. But I have a question: Isn't that unite-two-extremely-weak-monsters-into-one-very-powerful-monster thing a little worn out? I'm not criticizing you, but I'm just curious if you're gonna go further with that, or leave it at basically an -itsu type thing?

A Big, Angry Monkey
Earth-Beast-4 stars-2000-1000
This card cannot be normal summoned or set. This card cannot be special summoned except by tributing one "Berserk Gorilla" while you control an "Enraged Battle Ox". This card is not destroyed as a result of battle as long as you control another Beast or Beast-Warrior type monster. This card can attack twice during the same battle phase. When this card attacks with an ATK that is greater than the DEF of your opponent's defense position monster, inflict TWICE the difference as battle damage to your opponent.

I thought I'd just leave it how it is. And it's not immensely powerful given it's only 2300 ATK for a 2-Tribute monster and another Summon. Plus its DEF is still very small. This kind of thing may be "worn out", but it's still good. I think it makes for an interesting story too, like the Gagagigo thing.
 
True. But, if you get ambitious, perhaps you COULD make it into a story. Y'know, like add some -itu-ish support? Just a thought...

Dimension Fusion
the cost of activation is not negated, the card player will pay 2000 LP as usual, then the effect will not occur.

D.D. survivor/d.d. scout
this card will not return from removed from play. If Dimension lock is later destroyed, then the noted cards will not activate as the timing has been missed.

At the end of this end phase, you lose the duel.

Congratulations, Benjamin. Elemental Master LV7 even less possible to get out than Gate Guardian. Not to mention you'd need a microscope to read all that text, and an industrial-sized integrated circuit printer to get the text on the card in the first place.
