YGO Card Name Game

This is also a little out of the box, but the first Riddle/Answer on this thread (after the demo of BLS-EOB) was

Horus the Black Flame Dragon-LV6.

Oh, and the first Spell card placed on the field by Destiny Board is:

Spirit Message: "I"

Get it....."I" was first!!

Hehehe, I love this Game.

That would be exactly what I was thinking. Back to you Mr. Gigobyte.

Heh, Heh. Sorry Horus Master. Okay, another (hopefully) easy one, depending on fan base.....

Clue: "Come seek us where our voices sound, We cannot sing above the ground..."

Sounds like a quote from Harry Potter...

Mermaid Knight
Toon Mermaid
Cure Mermaid
Enchanting Mermaid

A quote from: Sorting Hat's Song, a childrens book tale... so with it in mind:

Magical Hats
White Magical Hats
Witch's Apprentice
Witch of the Black Forest

You're not sorry but it's okay...lol...the second part of that is
"An hour long you'll have to look, to discover what we took."

Snatch Steal

But the song is the song of mermaids so let's try something new...

Aquarian Alessa (I know you like her except for her BIG feet! LOL)

The movie is "The Goblet of Fire", so maybe....

Soul of Fire

Well, you've got the quote. But so far, not the answer. A couple of you are on the right track, the rest have followed Casey Jones. Keep guessing and more specific clues will be forthcoming.

Harry Potter, renowned for its spoilers. I forget the name of that Snape card.

Skilled Dark Magician?

In the Great Lake are the ruins of an old settlement.

A Legendary Ocean?

Then, of course, Harry and the reader hears this clue being spoken in a big bubble bath.

Bubble Illusion?

LordLight2, now you've derailed. No to all. The clue is pretty straightforward. But you have to look "deeper" (in a sense), not wider.
Clue 2 (or is it too soon?):

Anderson's shares something fantastic with this card.

"Something fantastic" makes me think of Final Fantasy, and a search of "Anderson Final Fantasy" brings up Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within. Spirits, Harry Potter... Moaning Myrtle.

The Unhappy Girl (also, amusingly, a Spellcaster).

Brilliant, Maruno. Incorrect, but brilliant nonetheless!

Not that Anderson either.

The second clue just narrows down the first, but if you learn who Anderson is, you can confirm the answer to the first clue and the association within the second clue will make you go, "ohhhh, that's right!!" And you will have the answer. Owing to that, I'm wondering if my next clue should be about who Anderson is, or start hinting at the actual name of the card. BTW, these little non-italicized explainations should not be taken as clues (I think that's where some folks got off onto trains and what not). They are simply nudges, mile markers, that sort of thing, telling if you are getting warmer, or colder. Oh, and please let me know if I'm giving out clues too soon. It's just that I get so excited. This is like Christmas, I can't wait for you to unwrap the present I got for you (again, no, this is not a clue or hint!).

Well, more directly, Hans Christian Andersen wrote "The Little Mermaid", which was adapted by Disney to remove all the violence and death and plot and so forth.
