THREATENING ROAR [Trap Card] Your opponent cannot declare an attack during this turn. This card is simply amazing. If you have no monsters on the field you can protect your life points for one full turn. Just like waboku or Negate Attack. If you have a Brain-Jacker face-down on the field you can prevent your opponent from attacking it, and thus will get its effect next turn. Although Waboku would also allow you to get brain-jakers effect your opponent would have the entire main-phase 2 to deal with the monster you took control of. Negate Attack achieves the same effect as Threatening Roar. Same goes for Cyber Jar, Fiber jar etc. Can protect Tribute Fodder. Your opponent won't be able to suicide a weak monster into Reflect bounder...
Book of Moon Quick-Play Spell Flip 1 face-up monster on the field into face-down Defense Position. This week's theme should be easy to figure out. This card has seen a lot of play of late due to it's great flexibility. It's chainable. It can stop an attacking monster. It can be used to recycle a FLIP effect. It can be combo-ed with "Nobleman of Crossout". It can save your monster from "Snatch Steal" and be used to permanently keep control of a monster you stole with "Snatch Steal". All in all, a very solid and handy card to maindeck.
Shadowslayer FET-EN024 Rare/Ultimate Rare DARK Fiend/4/1400/200 If the only cards on your opponent's Monster Card Zones are Defense Position monsters, this card can attack your opponent's Life Points directly. I think this card is a better version of Drillago, Hopefully it will be able to atk when there are spell and traps on the field?! Using a zero gravity will work wonders or if they have scapegoats
Graceful Charity Normal Spell Draw 3 cards from your Deck, then discard any 2 cards from your hand. Many were surprised at why this card got banned while "Pot of Greed" wasn't. After all, it's essentially a 1 to 1 thing... you draw 3 cards at the cost of 3 cards (the 2 you discard and this one). Well, that effect was the main reason why. "Graceful Charity" is a huge deck thinner not to mention it gives you the chance to either dump unwanted cards or dump cards you want in the Graveyard for a quick reborn or for Chaos/Fiend food. If you had to discard 2 of the 3 you drew it wouldn't be quite so useful. But since you can discard any 2, it can combo well with "Thunder Dragon" (say you discarded 1 already to get 2 in your...
Ok, let's talk about Homunculus, shall we? I'm trying to figure out how this card can be useful. Solid stats at 1800 ATK and 1600 DEF. Above average numbers there. He's a Light monster which is good for Chaos food. He's a Plant-Type, of which there seems to be little to no support. What about his effect? "You can change the Attribute of this monster. This effect can only be used once per turn." There's gotta be something I'm missing. There has to be some way that this card can be absolutely abused in a deck that supports it. But what exactly would that be? Can anyone offer any suggestions? The first thing that comes to mind is with cards that gain boosts by having other cards of that type on the field. For...

Deck Devastation Virus FET-EN058 SUPER RARE Deck Devastation Virus FET-EN058 (FLAMING ETERNITY) SUPER RARE (Trap card) Tribute 1 DARK monster with an ATK of 2000 points or more on your side of the field. Check all monsters on your opponent's side of the field, your opponent's hand, and all card/s he/she draws during your opponent's next 3 turns, and destroy all monsters with an ATK of 1500 or less. Well i just fallen in love with this card.... Everyone knows I fiend kinda guy and this card just fits right in. with 3x dark necrofears, Dark ruler Ha des,Archfiend of gilfer and The End of Anubis and Giant orcs, makes this card very viable in a fiend deck. And it fits right into the theme of my deck, To annoy my opponent!!!
In my area, alot of Warrior-based decks, alot of Burn too but mostly Warrior-types control style, because we all know control works. Dont we still believe in originality people? Haha oh well, that's not the point in this thread today, were throwing in a card known as Kinetic Soldier, the Humanoid-Berserk-Blastin-Anti-Human/Warrior Destruction Destructor Destroyer. Lets look at the ATK/DEF value's of this card shall we? Kinetic Soldier [Machine/Effect] Atk/1350 Def/1800 Wow, won't put up much of a fight, will it? Your probably like what the @#$@!*, that cards is useless. Not even defense worthy, since there releases of monsters of 2200, 2100, and 2000 in Def as such... But don't pass by just yet, read the effect... possibly...
Trap You can only activate this card when a monster on your side of the field that includes "Amazoness" in its card name, or is named "Amazon Archer", is specifically designated as a target by a card. Return the targeted Monster Card to its owner's hand and Special Summon another monster from your hand in face-up Attack or Defense Position. This card does for Amazoness what Tutan mask does for zombies only better. It includes monster targeting effects AND you get to replace the monster that was getting effect for something else that you may want to get destoryed or simply take the hit (i.e. Makyura the Destroyer). Better yet you can special summon high level monsters with tributing. Say the opponent activiates a 'Ring of Destruction'...
Amazoness Archers/Trap/Speed 2 This card can only be activated when your opponent attacks and you control a monster on your side of the field that includes "Amazoness" in its card name, or is named "Amazon Archer". All monsters on your opponent's side of the field become face-up Attack position (Flip effects are not activated) and as long as they remain face-up on the field decrease their ATK by 500 points. Your opponent must attack with all of these monsters this turn. (Quite a mouthful isn't it?) Earth/Warrior/4/1400/1000 Tribute 2 monsters on your side of the field to inflict 1200 points of damage to your opponent's Life Points. Yup after visting the sands of Egypt we go into the jungles of the Amazon and we start off Amazoness week with Amazon Archer. Note that its considered a Amazoness card. Just that at the time it came out, there was no amazoness group. She's was is alternative to using the Cannon Soldier. Both are at 1400 but she give more damage per tribute than him... until Dark Room of Nightmare came along. Regardless she still packs quite a punch. The problem is she has to tribute TWO monsters at a time. Although its fairly easy to get two monsters on the field, for her effect to be used you need three...
Earth/Warrior/4/1500/1300 All Battle Damage to this card's controller that he/she takes from a battle involving this monster becomes 0. Today we look at the other amazoness card that shares a similar ability of the Swords Woman. Unlike Swords Woman who gives your oppponent the same battle damage you suffer, Fighter makes it become zero. And just like Swords Woman, her effect resolves before Hades can negate it. Not even another Swords Woman will stop her effect of making battle damage become zero. This card's effect overrides it. Earth/Warrior/4/1700/300 Increase the ATK of this monster by 100 points for each monster on your side of the field that includes "Amazoness" in its card name, or is named "Amazon Archer". What can I say? This card will really benefit from swarming. Although its only at 1700, its really at 1800 since its counts itself. They didn't want to make another 1900 atk'er off the bat so that's why its at 1700. This mean she'll need someone else to be around to give her the necessary boost to be up to par with 1900 hitters. By her effect she'll go up to 2200. But odds are you use other means of powering her up (i.e. field cards, Command knights, etc). By itself no more a threat than any other 1800 attacker but have a couple out there and...

Increase the ATK of this monster by 400 points for each monster on your side of the field that includes "Amazoness" in its name, or is named "Amazon Archer". As long as this card remains face-up on the field, your opponent cannot select another monster on your side of the field that includes "Amazoness" in its name, or is named "Amazon Archer", as an attack target. By its self, its no better than an average 1500 atk'er. However, swarming comes quite easily in warrior decks, so its fairly easy to get it from 1100 to 1900 if not better. Here it is, for those who don't know: Mind Control Normal Spell Take control of 1 monster on your opponent's side of the field until the End Phase. This monster cannot declare an attack or be Tributed. now, what combos can you find with this card? i can only find situational ones regarding opponent's BLS (remove himself), opponent's Tribe (nuke himself), opponent's Dark Ruler (opponent's Fiends no longer negate effects), and just getting around big monsters that are in the way. Dark/Spellcaster/4/1000/1900 FLIP: Select 1 Monster Card on your opponent's side of the field (regardless of position) and return it to its owner's hand. We end Gravekeeper week with the Guard. Not much say besides the obvious about this card. With Necrovalley around he's not going anywhere due to battle. Perhaps not as great a defense as Spy but still good none the less. Its effect will want you to use Book of Moons or Tsukuyomi to really give the opponent problems keeping their monsters on the field. And it'll make them more hesitant in playing Tributing monsters besides Hades. Even if you don't use Book or Tsukuyomi, it'll still catch the opponent by surprise.
Dark Master-Zorc DCR-082 Fiend/Ritual/Effect Monster Dark/8/2700/1500 This card can only be Ritual Summoned with the Ritual Spell Card "Contract with the dark Master". You must also offer monsters whose total Level Stars equal 8 or more as a Tribute from the field or your hand. During your turn you can roll a six-sided die. If the result is 1 or 2, destroy all monsters on your opponent's side of the field. If the result is 3, 4, or 5, destroy 1 monster on your opponent's side of the field. How about we kick off Amazoness Week or something? lol... Earth/Warrior/4/1500/1600 Any battle damage that the controller of this card would take is applied to the opponent's life points instead. (or something like that lol) I like this card a lot. (and i should seeing as how its the focus of my deck) Obviously, its a staple for all Amazoness decks (or i would hope it is at least) and actually can be used well in other decks. if its not in an amazon deck, it should be in a warrior deck or earth deck. It also has a few nifty combos: After Genocide + This, Stone Statue of the Aztecs + This, etc. I classify it under the list of cards that i like to call "IFL's worst enemies". Think about it, if you pump IFL, you lose 3900 LP...
